Coach Christian Gonzales
Coach Christian began racing cross country at the age of 5; however he did not become serious about his running until age 17, and boy was he hooked! Christian went on to run for College of the Sequoias, Sacramento State University, and now Sacramento Running Association. Under the tutelage of his uncle, who successfully coached at the NCAA division 1 level for 8 years, Christian become immersed in helping runners improve. Coach Christian has successfully coached four athletes to significant person bests in events ranging from 800 meters to full marathons since 2012. These four athletes ranged from an elite road runner, a complete beginner, and two high school studs that took a long hiatus from competitive running. A great coach should be able to coach every distance! No matter the age, talent, or starting point, Coach Christian has the tools and experience to help you get SPEEDY!
